With over a decade of experience, she has led the design of 150+ notable spaces, including the Adidas flagship store, Mavin HQ, and the GQ Boutique Hotel, earning recognition such as the Africa & Arabia Property Awards 2022.
She is the Founder and Creative Director at Teal Harmony Ltd, a multi-faceted interior design company based in Nigeria, encompassing a renowned design studio, a lifestyle retail space redefining African luxury, and a furniture manufacturing arm proving Nigerian-made equals world-class. In 2025, she curated The Collective: Interior Makers, spotlighting local craftsmanship and sustainable design.

With a background in mathematics and a passion for creativity, Folakemi’s journey from graduate to celebrated entrepreneur continues to inspire a new generation of design-led thinkers and fearless creatives.
